Originally from Greensboro North Carolina, I moved to Bloomington Indiana to study Germanic Linguistics. I veered off course and enrolled in the Indiana University School of Library and Information Science, where I earned a Masters Degree in Information Science. I've since moved back to NC, and currently work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Comprehensive Cancer Center as an Applications Analyst.
In addition to my professional interests, I enjoy toying with the idea of learning new languages, traveling when I find the time, dining out with friends, and playing the occasional game of chess over a cup of coffee.
I am not a Web Designer
I am an educated and experienced developer and programmer dedicated to providing information architecture, usable design, data management and information visualization services to clients in need of more than a basic 'five page web site'. If you have data, I want to play with it. If you have a mess, I want to clean it up. If you have a business, I want to provide you with the dynamic online presence that makes the most sense for you.
Well okay... I also do some web design.
